Start with a new scene and delete the groundplane and disable 'link sun to view' as before. In Bryce3D turn off the sun, in Bryce2 set the sun colour to Black (this will give a similar effect). Create a terrain with a 512 resolution, with the terrain selected click the 'E' to enter the Terrain Editor. |

Once
the Terrain Editor has loaded click on 'picture', now load your previously
rendered 'skytemplate.bmp'. ** If you are wondering 'why so dark', I've found excessive height at this stage gives the final render large flat 'quantized' areas which look quite unnatural ** Exit the Terrain editor and with the Terrain still selected in the Scene Editor click 'M' To enter the Material Editor. |
